Apple Safari 4 Beta

Let me start this post with a question.

Which Browser do you use ? and Why?

a) Internet Explorer - Its default, I don't want one more software in my list.
b) Mozilla Firefox - I love it, I want to see the world my way.
c) Google Chrome - Its Google, I need a clean and no nonsense browsing.
d) Others - I love to try new things and see which suites me best.

Putting some interesting facts forward, out of 100 sample audience 45 prefer Firefox, whereas IE "6,7,8" is preferred by 43% rest 12 % is divided between chrome, opera, safari & others.

So by that we can say in total population 43% are brand loyal, 45% loves customized goods and remaining 12% loves to experiment.

So this browser is for those 12% who wants to experiment and experience the next generation of browsers.

Parmar's Review - very early to say whether Safari 4 will be able to post any challenge for IE or Firefox but i must tell you it will surely give healthy competition to Google Chrome. A very innovative, neat, exceptionally fast and highly user friendly browser.
It is a next generation browser with not so new features but eye catching and easy to use interface.

Pro's -

- Awesome looks
- Thumbnail preview of most popular sites visited by you
"this is something which opera started chrome followed and safari took it to another level"

- Built in RSS reader

- Innovative History View

Con's

- Set up file is heavy in comparison to other browsers
Firefox - 7 MB
IE 8 - 17 MB
Opera - 9 MB
Chrome - 6 MB
Safari - 25 MB

- if you have Windows and any other browser you have a habit of closing the tab from right corner but as apple prefers left side so its little uncomfortable for users to adjust to it.

As i stated earlier that its too early to tell you the negatives or positives. But as i have started using it and will get back as soon as we get more details

Windows - Good, Bad or Worst?

We know this logo and recognize it even with closed eyes (not really) because this is something we have seen since we started using this divine machine called personal computer. I have started dreaming about this logo with the black background also (on startup).

  • Leaving jokes aside Microsoft Corporation has seeded us with its operating systems from the beginning, starting from Windows 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 95, NT, 98, 2000, XP, Vista and now WINDOWS 7.

Why it is called WINDOWS 7?

It’s the seventh version of Windows and Vista was 6th, XP 5th and so on …

I have worked in almost all the versions of Windows except 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and have found that they have been improving it day in and day out by giving us updates just for everything, this shows how much they work for us. Most of us would be laughing on this but that most well known command known to mankind is CTRL + ALT + DEL.

But this time they have promised that they are giving us what we wanted from our operating system it's
    Faster & Easier
    Improved taskbar and full-screen previews
    Jump Lists
New ways to work with Windows
    Internet Explorer 8
    Windows Live
    Better device management
    Home Group
    It works our way
    Faster, more responsive performance
    Extended battery life
    Theme packages
    Take control of problems
    It has new possibilities
    Share music and videos
    Windows Touch
    Handwriting recognition additions

I am not a developer, I am not an IT pro who understands how much pain goes in making one little update. But I know I am an end user who is paying you your salary by buying your product
